The Greek Island of Anafi

Anafi is a small Greek island in the Cyclades group. It's a really peaceful island with some amazing beaches where you can simply relax without numerous tourists around as the place was not commercialized much.

We first visited Panagia Kalamiotissa Monastery located on the second tallest monolith in Europe after the one in Gibraltar. To reach it, we had to hike there for about half an hour. It was pretty demanding, but the views from the top are simply fantastic.

We went to Agioi Anargyroi Beach, a small really beautiful beach with golden color sand and clear blue waters. The path going down is a bit difficult, you have to be attentive. We loved this one so much.

We next went to Katsouni Beach, a beautiful coasal landscape around the fine beach. The beach is accesible on foot from Klisidi.

The last beach we checked was Paralia Roukounas which is not organized, without umbrellas or sunbeds. For those who search quiet places, this beach is heaven.

We left the island at the end of the day, but there are a few accommodation options here if you want to enjoy the island for longer.
