Cyprus Tour

Arrived late. Most flights do that. Had accommodation in Larnaca.

Visited the city. It's a nice pedestrian path that goes along the coast to an old fort.

Visited the Medieval Fort.

Spent the afternoon at Kastella Beach.

Rented a car and headed away from the city. Stopped at Ayia Napa. Visited the peninsula and the caves on the shore. Spectacular. You can spend time at the beach as well.

We then headed to Gazimagusa. Spent the night.

Visited around, the old town center, walked the walls, saw the city ruins

We drove a few kilometers to the north to see Varosha Ghost Town, the huge beach and resort have been abandoned.

Further to the north, visited Salamis Ancient City - ruins of once Greek state and the old capital of Cyprus. Plus, coastal views.

Spent the night here.

Visited Kyrenia and Hilarion Castle.

Visited Nicosia a bit. Spent the night.

Went to Troodos Mountains, home of the fameous Mount Olympus.

Then to Akamas Peninsula National Park. We took a hike on Aphrodite Trail there.

Visited Paphos.

and beautiful Avakas Gorge.
