Montenegro Coast

We arrived on Montenegro coast driving from Bosnia, so our first stop was clos to the border Monenegro - Bosnia. Herceg Novi stands at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor, in Montenegro. It's one of the most authentic towns in Montenegro. It's very beautiful, but surprisingly less visited by tourists. We enjoyed walking along the promenade, admiring the beautiful landscape with the mountains behind and relaxing at the beach. We spent the first night in Herceg Novi.

After the breakfast, we got back in the car and continued the tour of the Montenegro coast.

We arrived in the tiny village of Perast. Beautiful lansdacpes of the multi layer town, the sea and the mountains in the backround. We stopped here to take a few stepts in the city center and along the waterfront promenade.

Kotor was the final destination of the day. Unlike the previous town, Kotor was full with tourists as it's the most popular destination of Montenegro. It's a UNESCO World Heritage site, with Venetian walls surrounding the beautiful old town. We spent most of the day here.

till we arrived at Castle of San Giovanni, a beautiful medieval castle standing on the picturesque hillside and offering awesome views of the bay.

Then explored the streets of Kotor Old Town with its romantic alleys, souvenir shops and cafes. We spent the night in Kotor.

The next morning we drove further.

After about half an hour drive, we arrived in Budva, which is one of the most amazing places to visit in Montenegro. It's one of the oldest settlements on the Adriatic coast. Unlike Kotor, Budva is not full of tourists, but locals do come here to enjoy the coast. We explore the old town, walked to along the fortress walls and we took time to enjoy a swim as well.

The next and final destination was Sveti Stefan. It's a very beautiful small islet with beautiful rock formations by the coast and on the beach. After exploring the area a bit, we relaxed by the beach till the sun went down.
