9 Days in Bali

Bali is one of the most beautiful destinations in the world. We were so eager to discover it. We arrived in Denpasar airport.

Then transfered to Seminyak, a beach resort in the South part of Bali, at the Indian Ocean. It was our home for first 2 days.

In the morning we explored a bit the streets of the resort and, of course, the beaches.

Then we decided to rent some bikes and went on a tour to the beautiful paddy fields of Canguu.

On our return to Seminyak town, we checked a couple of tourist attractions, like Petitenget Temple, a centuries-old temple in Bali, and Nyaman art gallery, with classic and contemporary art of the region.

Today we went to Uluwatu Temple, which is one of the six main temples of Bali considered Bali's spiritual pillars. The most amazing thing about it is actually its location. It's situated on a clifftop high above the sea.

Then we stopped at Nusa Dua Beach in the afternoon. There's a nice beach bar there, Geger Beach Bar. We spent the in the resort here.

Ubud is Bali’s most popular tourist destinations. It has a mix of historical sites, beautiful waterfalls, mountains and hiking trails. We remained in the city for the night.

Back to Ubud

Today we continued to visit mountianous attractions.

First we took a walk in the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and met the super cute monkeys in the area. :)

Then we headed to gorgeous Sekumpul Waterfall. It's a series of narrow long cascades in a forested valley.

Today we left the city for a picturesque destination.

Drove to Denpesar.

And we took a boat to Nusa Lembongan, a small beautiful island southeast of Bali, actually a popular tourist destination, but still less crowded than Bali. It has magnifisant beaches and clear water. We had accommodation in a beautiful bungalow on the island.

Spent the last day here, on the beaches mainly.

Time to get back.
