Innsbruck

Innsbruck is famous among winter sports lovers, it's a destination close to large ski slopes in the Alps. But it's also a very nice town to visit in late spring or summer as well.

I started my trip in Innsbruck with a walk on the streets of the city center. I stopped at Golden Roof. It's a landmark building of Innsbruck, with its roof decorated with gilded copper tiles.

I then stopped at Tower Innsbruck, another landmark of Innsbruck. It's a former prison with nice views and it also contains a small museum.

I took a walk along the Inn River bank. Along the river there are colourful buildings lined beautifully with the mountain just in the back. It's a nice picture of the city.

I arrived in Markthalle, had something to eat there after I took a tour of the food court.

I headed to Nordpark cable car and took a ride up the mountain. There are two sections of the cable car. I took them both and enjoyed my time in Nordkette mountain range.

When I returned from the mountain, I had stopped at Café Bar Galerie for a drink. I liked Austrian beer.
