Amazing Amalfi Coast
Day 1
Naples, Italy
This is a one week holiday in the dreamland of the Amalfi Coast. We landed in Naples and took a ferry from Naples to Amalfi.

We had accommodation in Amalfi, which is the central town on the Amalfi Coast. We decided to stay central, in Amalfi, and move daily to different towns of the coast to ofully explore the wonderful area of gorgeous towns of the Amalfi Coast.
Day 2
Amalfi, Italy
Today we dedicated the day to explore the beautiful town of Amalfi. We started with the town’s central square, Piazza Duomo and then walked the streets and stairs of the town with the coulourful buildings. From Piazza Duomo, we climbed the steps to visit the Duomo di Amalfi and the small museum there. In the afternoon we enjoyed the small beach of Amalfi and ended the day with a walk along the harbour and with a first beautiful sunset of the holiday.
Day 3
Amalfi, Italy
Positano, Italy
Today we took a boat ride to Positano. It's just a half an hour away from Amalfi but the ride is very scenic with that long coastline beauty view from the boat.
Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta, Italy
We arrived at Spiaggia Grande and climbed the stairs to Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta to visit the church.
Positano, Italy
Bach to Spaggia Grande and the to the town of Positano to explore the maze of streets lined with boutiques and cafes.
Fornillo Beach, Italy
When we had enough of the town, we took Via Positanesi d’America walkway towards Spiaggia di Fornillo, which is a very beautiful and quiet place for bathing and sunbathing.
Amalfi, Italy
Took the boat back to Amalfi and admired the beautiful sunset from the boat.
Day 4
Amalfi, Italy
Had an Italian breakfast at Pizzeria Donna Stella in the heart of Amalfi before leaving the town for the day.
Ravello, Italy
Took the bus to gorgeous Ravello town. We visited the town’s elegant central piazza and stopped in the Duomo. Then took an easy walk through the quiet streets of Ravello to reach the Villa Cimbrone and then towards Terrace of Infinity which offers a stunning view over the sea and the coastline.
Amalfi, Italy
We caught a late bus back to Amalfi.
Day 5
Amalfi, Italy
Capri, Italy
Today we took the ferry for a longer ride towards the spectacular Island of Capri. We took the stairs on foot to reach Capri town. You can also take the funicular. We walked around the gorgeous streets and enjoy all panoramic points on our walk. Stopped at Giardini di Augusto, where we found the perfect look over the sea. Back in the main port for another boat ride.
Blue Grotto, Italy
This time we took a boat ride around the Island of Capri with a stop at Grotta Azzurra, which is one of the most spectacylar caves I've seen. We entered the cave with small boats with Italian boatmen.

Back to Capri mai port and then back to Amalfi town.
Day 6
Amalfi, Italy
Pompei, Italy
Today we took a tour to Pompeii, the vast archaeological site with ruins of the Roman city destroyed by volcanic lava back in 79 AD. It's impressive to walk on those streets where 2000 years ago used to live and walk and the Romans.

Day 7

After a late breakfast on Amalfi, it was time to leave the amazing Italian coast.
