Antalya

Antalya is a coastal town of Turkey with beautiful beaches and great landscapes as it's surrounded by the Taurus Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. It is a popular summer destination due to its great beauty. We had a day to explore Antalya.

We started the day in Antalya with a swim an on Konyaalti Beach. It's a nice beach with pebbles instead of sand and nearby restaurants to enjoy a drink while relaxing at the beach.

Lara is a posh neighbourhood in Antalya. After we strolled in the area a bit, we continued to the beach in the neighbourhood. It's a beautiful beach with great views.

Karaalioglu Park is an urban green space on top of a hill with a beautiful panoramic balcony that offers stunning views over thea sea and, the city and the coast.

Also in the park, we visited Hidirlik Tower. It'a a round stone tower built by the Romans in the second century, with bay views from the upper platform.

Antalya Museum is located in the heart of the town and is a large Anatolian history museum.

The Old Quarter, Kaleici, is a blend of old architecture with fun urban activities, old markets and plenty of cafes and pubs. To enter the old quarter, you can walk through Hadrian’s Gate, a marble archway which makes it an impressive entry.

Old City Marina is a nice waterfront area where we had a Turkish coffee while watching the yachts in the port.
