London City Break
Day 1
London, United Kingdom
In the first day on my London city break, I checked the major attractions of the big city.
Houses of Parliament, United Kingdom
I started my first day walk with Houses of Parliament, one of the landmarks of London. Palace of Westminster is a sumptuous building that serves as the meeting place for the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom.
Big Ben, United Kingdom
Just nearby, you can admire another landmark of London, Big Ben, the beautiful clock tower of London, a must see photo stop while in Westminster area.
Westminster Abbey, United Kingdom
The imposing Westminster Abbey, the cathedral where royal wedding and other important religious events take place.
10 Downing St, United Kingdom
The famous 10 Downing Street is the official residence and office of the British Prime Minister.
St James's Park, United Kingdom
I continued my walk with a refreshing walk in one of the most beautiful parks of London in my opinion, St James’s Park. I took a break on a sunbed in the green grass of the park watching the cute squirrels around.
Buckingham Palace, United Kingdom
Next, I visited the very famous Buckingham Palace, the principal residence for Britain’s Royal Family and the official administrative headquarters for the Monarch.
Camden Market, United Kingdom
In the afternoon I moved from London's busiest spots to a cooler neighbourhood of London, Camden. The neighbourhood is famous for its markets and for its nightlife. It's also the home neighbourhood of late British singer Amy Winehouse.
Day 2
Covent Garden, United Kingdom
The second day started in Covent Garden. It's a cool hub in London with shopping area, performers, museums, markets and beautiful streets. I took a long stroll there staring at people, shopping windows and also stopped for a coffe at one of the many pubs in the area.
Trafalgar Square, United Kingdom
I ended up in Trafalgar Square, a famous and beautiful square in London. The Square's name commemorates an important historical moment in UK, the Battle of Trafalgar.
The National Gallery, United Kingdom
Stopped by The National Gallery, an art museum in Trafalgar Square with an impressive collection of paintings
Drury Lane, United Kingdom
It's an old London street, which is home to one of London’s oldest theatres, like the Theatre Royal.
Leicester Square, United Kingdom
One of London’s most vibrant squares, a good place to stope and stare ath passers by.
Piccadilly Circus, United Kingdom
Another of London's famous squares with a round open space in the moddle.

The third day started with Tower of London, a historic castle on the north bank of the River Thames in central London.

Continued with Borough Market, my favourite food market in London, where you can actually stop for lunch.
