Road Trip in Beautiful Slovenia

Arrived in Ljubljana. Explored the city on foot, the best way to discover the city. The city has influences of Viennese and Venetian architecture, it's quite interesting. Check Open Kitchen, open market open on Fridays.

Rented a car and drove to Piran, at the Adriatic Sea. Has Venetian-gothic architecture and coastal charm. After parking, walked down the hill and followed the promenade into town. I liked the small harbour there filled with fishing boats. Spent the night here.

We hit the road after breakfast.

We headed north. Stopped in Kanal ob Soči, a tiny town with riverside houses and a stone bridge.

We moved forward to Soča Valley. Stopped in Kobarid, visited the city. Spent the night in Kobarid.

We explored a bit the Soča Valley and the southwestern Julian Alps. We took a boat ride on Soca River.

Extremelly beautiful landscape in the Alps bordering Italy. Crystal clear rivers and lakes, winding roads and spectacular mountain scenery.

We drove to Kranjska Gora through Italy. On the way, we admired extraordinary landscapes, including Fusine Lakes.

Kranjska Gora is an alpine resort town with mindblowing views of the Julian Alps. You can try hiking, cycling and other activities. We hiked a bit to Martuljek waterfalls. Walked around Lake Jasna.
