Four Days in Belgrade

Arrived in Belgrade, Serbia's capital. We started a city tour. The best place in town is by the Belgrade Fortress. Up on the hill, you have a beautiful view over Danube, actually the very point where Sava River flows into Danube River. You can watch a beautiful sunset from there.

Belgrade has a mix of high culture with a fun-loving spirit. You can sense this spirit best on Skardarlija neighbourhood and on Skardarska Street, the Bohemian street, car free. We liked to walk around, gazing at the urban scene.

Ada Ciganlija is an island in the middle of the city, with a beach and wild nature.

Visited Gardoš Tower, a monument from the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, over the right bank of the Danube.

On the last day, we took a boat trip on Danube River.
