Thasos

Arrived in Thessaloniki, rented a carr and headed east.

Arrived in Kavala. Spent the night.

Explored Kavala. Spent a few hours walking around the old town, visiting Castle of Kavala, The Aquaduct.

Spent the evening at the beach.

Rented a car and took a ferry to Thassos Island.

Arrived on the Island of Thassos. The island is known for its mountains covered in pine forests that descend directly into the Aegean Sea, for sandy beaches and olive plantations. Stayed in Thassos Town. Explored it a bit.

The Acropolis of Ancient Thasos

Visited the old port, very picturesque.

Ancient Agora

Marble beach.

Giola Lagoon, very beautiful spot on the coast - small pool inside rocky seaside cliffs.

Pekfari Beach. Did snorkeling, super experience.
