Hvar, Croatia
Hvar is a small lovely Croatian island town on the coast of the Adriatic Sea. It's famous for its picturesque beaches, interesting coves and beautiful nature. We arrived in Hvar on a beautiful summer day.

We started our day with a good coffe at Kava 37, a nice coffee place in the old center.
Pokonji dol Beach, Croatia
Then headed straight to the beach to cool off a bit. We went tto Pokonji Dol Beach, a short hike away from the harbour. It's a beautiful beach with green forest just behind.
Hvar Street, Australia
After spending good time on the beach and cooling off, we headed to Hvar Town. It's pretty small. We walked along Hvar Square, a large beautiful square encircled by buildings, like Hvar Theater, Cathedral of St. Stephen and Gallery of Contemporary Art. The square is lined with cafes and shops.
Spanjola, Croatia
We climbed the stairs towards Hvar Fortress, a 15th century fortress built during the Venetian era. It is situated on a hill overlooking Hvar. There are super nice views from there.
Pokonji dol Beach, Croatia
After touring the town, we went down to the beach again for another hour or so.
Hula Hula Hvar - Beach Bar & Restaurant, Croatia
Then went to have a drink and also witnessed a spectacular sunset from Hula Hula Bar. We could have easily spent another day at the beaches on the island here.
